Luxury Chairs Collection: Frequently Asked Questions
What types of designer chairs are available in your collection?
Our master "Chairs" collection brings together premium, structurally striking seating designs for every room in your home. The curated range includes:
- Dining Room & Kitchen Seating: High-end dining chairs and premium breakfast island bar stools constructed with solid wood frames or elegant metal legs.
- Lounge & Bedroom Anchors: Statement accent chairs, deep armchairs, and luxury chaise longues designed to create a sophisticated reading corner or dressing area.
- Mobility & Specialized Comfort: Premium electric rise and recline chairs that offer exceptional orthopaedic support without compromising on elegant living room aesthetics.
- Versatile Accents: Upholstered benches, drum stools, and dressing table seating finished in plush fabrics.
What premium materials and fabrics do you use?
We prioritize exceptional structural integrity, tactile comfort, and organic beauty. Our frames are individually handcrafted from 100% solid hardwoods (such as premium sustainable mango wood, white oak, walnut, and chestnut) or reinforced industrial steel. For upholstery, we source highly durable, premium-grade fabrics that withstand daily use while remaining beautifully soft to the touch, including textured bouclé, plush velvets, sophisticated linens, and authentic top-grain leathers.
How do I choose the correct seat height for a dining table or breakfast bar?
To guarantee a comfortable sitting position, you need to match the seat height of your chair to the surface height of your table or counter:
- Dining Chairs: Standard UK dining tables sit around 75cm to 80cm high. Your dining chairs should ideally have a seat height of 45cm to 50cm to allow roughly 25cm to 30cm of legroom.
- Kitchen Island Bar Stools: Breakfast counters typically sit higher (around 90cm to 92cm). For these, you should look for counter-height stools with a seat height of 60cm to 65cm so you can sit comfortably without your knees knocking the underside of the counter.
How do I care for and clean my luxury upholstered chairs?
To preserve the artistry, colour, and texture of your premium seating, follow these simple care guidelines:
- Plush Fabrics (Velvet, Bouclé, Linen): Vacuum gently once a week using a soft upholstery brush attachment to remove dust and debris. For accidental spills, blot immediately with a clean, dry cloth—never rub, as this can push the liquid deeper into the fibres.
- Solid Timber Elements: Wipe down wooden legs or backrests with a soft, lint-free microfibre cloth. Avoid harsh chemical sprays, abrasive scrubs, or silicone-based polishes which can erode the natural protective lacquer.
Are your chairs delivered fully assembled?
To give you a seamless setup experience, many of our armchair and accent chair designs arrive fully built by master craftsmen straight to your door. For specific dining chair and bar stool collections featuring sleek metal frame lines or Nordic-style tapered legs, minor home assembly is required to safely secure the legs to the padded seat unit.
All required heavy-duty fixings and clear instructions are included for straightforward setup. If you are ordering multiple pieces or a full dining set, you can select our premium white-glove assembly service at checkout to have our professional team handle the unboxing, build, and packaging clearance for you.
